We were looking for a tough cot, something that would support a big guy and this Byer of Maine military cot was great! It gave support enough to be comfortable (we used a folded blanket as a cushion since it has the tough canvas material feel), and after a week of use it still looks brand new with no sagging or seam stress. Yes, it is a little tough to get the end posts set, but that is a necessity if you want the firm support. Despite that, in 3-4 minutes at the most the cot assembles easily from storage bag to sleeping area.

This is a great quality made cot. It is light weight and very easy to set-up and take down. It is wider then my previous cot (military issued) so my knees don't bang on the side rails. Make sure you measure inside your tent to insure there is enough room for the cot(s) and room to get dressed/undressed, walk in and out, etc.

    I purchased this hammock for all my future outdoor trips after doing extensive research on every company who makes/ sells hammocks. Some people might prefer to buy a system that is "all-inclusive" (i.e. - with bug net and rainfly attached). I'm not one of those people. I prefer to have control of what I pack depending on the journey. I was hoping to try it out in the wilderness first, but as luck would have it the family reunion that I'm currently on took priority. I think everyone in the family thought I was crazy for bringing it up to Minneapolis since we'd be at a condo (instead of outdoors and closer to trees). However, the patio area has two perfectly spaced columns that have worked out well! Every evening I'll set it up in a matter of minutes, lay in and just watch the stars till I fall asleep.

    This thing is amazing! I have it hanging on my back patio and love using it. When pack up its smaller than a football and light weight. Left it out in the rain the other night and it was dry by morning. Feels exactly like a parachute. I am 5'6" and around 200 lbs... not a little girl...and this thing works great for me. Plenty of room but it is a single. I would not attempt to put another person in it with me even if I was lighter and we would be under the weight limit. It's just not made for two.

    Pros: Very compact, great design, super comfortable, slick and convenient. Also, sets up in five minutes with pretty much no hassle.

    Cons: Very thin nylon, but seems durable. Sleeps kinda goofy because it squeezes your shoulders inward.

    Overall: Amazing item, no complaints at all. Carabiners are high quality and paracord is tough.

    I have bought 4 Breezy Bunks and in a short time they just fall flat on the floor. My dogs are small Beagles and I got the large beds , so I know it is not the weight.I love them while it last, but the elevated bed is not elevated for long. Does anyone know how to repair them?

    Within a couple of weeks, the cot collapsed to the floor, and the stitching on one of the corners began to pop out. My dog weighs 60 pounds. Perhaps that is too heavy for the large bed, but the manufacturer should have provided weight specs for the product.
